BRO | City center at a high level
This brochure for BRO bundles the lessons and tips for the future that the association Wonen boven Winkels Nederland has collected in ten years, as a knowledge center. They originate from the daily practice of public and private parties that are involved in promoting living above shops - whether it concerns existing or new buildings. The geographical focus was mainly on city centers, because that is where these functions come together and the development of the residential function contributes to areas that otherwise look deserted after closing time.
The publication brings together three timelines: the development of urban living, the trends in retail and the well-being of Dutch city centers.
