BPD | Smits Bouwbedrijf | La Grande Cour

The spectacular design of La Grande Cour is by the coordinating architectural firm Meyer & Van Schooten Architecten. Based on the design by Meyer and Van Schooten for the ‘skeleton’ of La Grande Cour, the architectural firms de Architekten Cie. and Heren 5 architecten were involved in the project. Each of the three firms designed a periscope, a courtyard, the entrances and common areas. The outer shell – made of purple-brown, shiny brick – holds the whole thing together.
